Stubborn fuzzy won't convert
« on: January 22, 2018, 05:55:58 PM »

Hey guys. This is my second dwarf lion I've owned, first was a zebra, now I have a fuzzy. I quite easily converted my zebra onto frozen but this dang fuzzy has me tied around her fin. She will only eat ghost shrimp, alive and frozen. She will not touch frozen krill or large mysis.  She will look at them and then swim away. The moment I drop a frozen ghostie in there, she's all over it. I even tried the stealth stick and it's a no go with her. I turn the pump off at every attempted feeding to signal she's about to get food and even faster her for a week. HELP!

Just keep at it. Don't offer live ever anymore if she's eating frozen ghosts.
Feed frozen ghosts consistently off the stealth stick and then try the jumbo mysis or krill on the stealth stick. Just be consistent! Good luck!  *thumbsup

Well, she's kind of coming around. Most days, if i feed her a frozen ghost, it gets her in the mood and she'll eat a few jumbo mysis afterwards

That's positive. Just keep at it. Like any stubborn pet, eventually they cave.  *thumbsup
